Ingredients
– 1.5 kg frozen hash browns
– 600 ml sour cream
– 60 g butter, melted
– 1 can cream of chicken soup
– 1 ½ cups grated cheese
– 1 small onion, diced
– 2 cups cornflakes
– 60 g butter, melted (for topping)
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. In a large bowl, mix frozen hash browns, sour cream, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, grated cheese, diced onion, salt, and pepper.
3. Spread this mixture evenly into a baking dish.
4. In a separate bowl, combine cornflakes and melted butter, then sprinkle this topping over the potato mixture.
5. Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly on top.
