Delicious Frangipane Mince Pies Recipe For Festive Celebrations

Ingredients

– 1 sheet of puff pastry
– 200 g mincemeat
– 100 g ground almonds
– 100 g unsalted butter, softened
– 100 g sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1 tsp almond extract
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– Icing sugar, for dusting
– A pinch of salt

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Grease a muffin tin with some butter.
2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut out circles to fit in the muffin cups. Place the circles into the tin.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground almonds, softened butter, sugar, eggs, almond extract, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well until smooth.
4. Add a spoonful of mincemeat into each pastry case and top with the almond mixture.
5. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden. Let them cool slightly before dusting with icing sugar.
