Ingredients

  • 500g pork tenderloin
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine or dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cooked rice

Method

  1. Slice the pork tenderloin into thin pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice wine, brown sugar, five spice powder, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
  3. Stir the pork slices into the marinade and let them sit for about 15 minutes.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and add the marinated pork. Cook for around 5-7 minutes until browned.
  5. Add the broccoli to the pan and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until it is tender. Serve with cooked rice.
