Ingredients
– 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
– 1 cup sugar
– 1 tsp baking soda
– 1 tsp ground cinnamon
– 1 tsp ground ginger
– ½ tsp ground nutmeg
– ½ tsp salt
– 1 cup water
– ½ cup vegetable oil
– 1 tbsp white vinegar
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.
3. Pour in the water and vegetable oil. Add the vinegar, then stir until everything blends into a smooth batter.
4. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
5. Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before removing it from the pan. Cut into squares to serve.
