Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups pumpkin purée
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup softened butter
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish and set it aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin purée, brown sugar, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix everything together until smooth.
3. Add flour, baking powder, and softened butter to the pumpkin mixture. Stir until well combined.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
