Ingredients
- 150 g of dark chocolate
- 100 g of unsalted butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish or line it with baking paper.
- In a saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter together over low heat. Stir until smooth.
- Remove the mixture from heat, then add brown sugar and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt, maple syrup, cinnamon, and chopped pecans. Stir until everything is combined.
- Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
