Delicious Eggless Chocolate Peppermint Layer Cake Recipe

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 2 cups sugar
– ¾ cup cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– ½ teaspoon salt
– 1 cup milk
– ½ cup vegetable oil
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 1 cup peppermint frosting
– ½ cup crushed peppermint candies

Method

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare two round cake pans by greasing them.
2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
3. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
4. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
5. Cool the cakes for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Once cooled, layer with peppermint frosting and top with crushed peppermint candies.
