Ingredients
– 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup maple syrup
– 1/4 cup vegetable oil
– 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 cup pecans, chopped
– 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
– 1/4 cup water
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, maple syrup, vegetable oil, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt, and water. Mix well until everything is smooth.
3. Fold in the chopped pecans and dark chocolate chips if using. Stir gently to combine.
4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
5. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set. Let it cool before slicing.
