Ingredients

  • 500g ground chicken or turkey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Method

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the ground chicken or turkey, breaking it apart, and cook until it’s no longer pink.
  4. Mix in the coleslaw, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and black pepper. Cook until the cabbage wilts, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
