Ingredients
– 1 cup (250 ml) granulated sugar
– 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter, softened
– 2 large eggs
– 1 cup (250 ml) sour cream
– 2 cups (500 ml) all-purpose flour
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1/2 cup (125 ml) orange juice
– Zest of 1 orange
– A pinch of salt
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the sour cream.
4. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add these dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
5. Stir in the orange juice and zest. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
