Ingredients
500 g ground beef
100 g breadcrumbs
1 large egg
60 ml milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
400 g tomato sauce
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper.
Mix the ingredients together until fully combined. Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
Place the meatballs on the prepared baking tray. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are golden and cooked through.
Heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Once the meatballs are ready, pour the sauce over them and simmer for 5 minutes before serving.
