Ingredients
– 1 cup rolled oats
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1/2 cup butter, softened
– 1/4 cup milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Combine well.
3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Add milk and vanilla, mixing thoroughly.
4. Combine the two mixtures and stir until everything is well blended. Form small balls and place them on the baking sheet.
5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Let them cool before using to make sandwiches with cream cheese.
