Ingredients
– 400 g chorizo, diced
– 1 small onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 red bell pepper, chopped
– 400 g canned diced tomatoes
– 2 tbsp tomato paste
– 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tbsp brown sugar
– Salt to taste
– Burger buns, for serving
Method
1. Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add the diced chorizo and cook until it starts to brown.
2. Stir in the chopped onion, minced garlic, and red bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables soften.
3. Pour in the canned diced tomatoes and add the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well.
4. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with salt according to taste.
5. Serve the chorizo mix in burger buns and enjoy.
