Ingredients
400 g fresh or frozen ravioli
300 g Italian sausage, casing removed
400 g pasta sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a large pan over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbly. Break it up using a spatula while cooking.
Stir in the pasta sauce and heat for about 5 minutes. Add salt and black pepper according to taste.
In a baking dish, layer half of the ravioli at the bottom. Spread half of the sausage mixture over the ravioli, followed by half of the ricotta and mozzarella cheese.
Layer the remaining ravioli, sausage mixture, ricotta, and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
