Ingredients
– 500 g bhetki fish fillets
– 1 cup plain yogurt
– 2 tablespoons mustard oil
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon red chili powder
– 2 green chilies (slit)
– 1 teaspoon ginger paste
– 1 teaspoon garlic paste
– Salt to taste
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Method
1. Cut the fish fillets into pieces and marinate them with turmeric and salt for about 15 minutes.
2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, and red chili powder together until well combined.
3. Heat mustard oil in a pan over medium heat and add the marinated fish pieces. Sauté them for a few minutes until they are slightly browned.
4. Pour the yogurt mixture over the fish and add slit green chilies. Stir gently to coat the fish well.
5. Cook for about 10 minutes on low heat until the fish is fully cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
