Ingredients
1 cup gram flour (besan)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon ghee
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/4 cup chopped nuts (like almonds and cashews)
1 pinch saffron (optional)
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Method
1. Combine gram flour, sugar, and water in a bowl. Stir until smooth.
2. Add baking powder, salt, cardamom powder, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
3. Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame. Pour the batter into the pan and cook for about 10 minutes.
4. Once the mixture thickens, add chopped nuts and saffron, if using. Stir continuously until it pulls away from the sides of the pan.
5. Pour the mixture into a greased plate, spread evenly, and let it cool. Cut into pieces and serve.
