Ingredients
- 500 g okra, chopped
- 2 cups yogurt
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, for frying
- Cilantro, for garnish
Method
- Heat oil in a pan and add the sliced onions. Fry until golden brown, then set aside.
- In the same pan, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add the chopped okra, turmeric, and salt. Cook until the okra is tender.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and coriander powder. Stir well.
- Combine the okra mixture with the yogurt. Serve warm, topped with fried onions and garnish with cilantro.
