Ingredients
– 1.5 kg beef short ribs
– 1 cup beef broth
– 1 cup tomato sauce
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 onion, chopped
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
Method
1. Start by searing the short ribs in a large pan on the stove. Cook them until browned on all sides.
2. Combine beef broth, tomato sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion, salt, and black pepper in your slow cooker.
3. Place the browned short ribs into the slow cooker with the mixture. Ensure they are coated well.
4. Close the slow cooker lid and cook on low for about 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
5. Once the ribs are tender, serve them with the sauce over rice or mashed potatoes.
