Ingredients
– 1.5 kg beef short ribs
– 2 cups beef broth
– 1 cup red wine
– 1 tablespoon tomato paste
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 carrots, sliced
– 2 teaspoons salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
Method
1. Start by seasoning the short ribs with salt and pepper.
2. In a large skillet, sear the short ribs on all sides over medium heat until browned.
3. Place the seared ribs in the slow cooker. Add beef broth, red wine, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, and carrots. Stir to combine.
4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
5. Once done, serve the ribs with the sauce poured over them.
