Ingredients

– 1.5 kg pork roast
– 1 cup vegetable broth
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon onion powder
– 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 3 medium carrots, chopped
– 4 medium potatoes, diced
– 1 onion, sliced

Method

1. Start by preparing the pork roast. Rub garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper all over the meat.
2. Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the slow cooker. Put the seasoned pork roast on top of the onion.
3. Add the vegetable broth around the pork. Then, scatter the chopped carrots and diced potatoes over the roast.
4. Cover the slow cooker with the lid. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the meat is tender.
5. Once finished, carefully shred the pork with two forks. Serve the meat and vegetables together.
