Ingredients
– 500 g chicken breasts
– 250 ml barbecue sauce
– 1 onion, sliced
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon pepper
– 2 cups cooked rice
– 1 cup coleslaw mix
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Method
1. Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker.
2. Spread sliced onion on top of the chicken.
3. In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until the chicken is tender.
5. Shred chicken with two forks and stir. Serve it with rice and top with coleslaw mix and parsley.
