Ingredients
– 1 kg potatoes, peeled and chopped
– 100 ml cream
– 100 g crème fraîche
– 3 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
Method
1. Boil the chopped potatoes in a large pot of salted water for about 15-20 minutes, until they are tender.
2. Drain the potatoes carefully and return them to the pot.
3. Add the butter, cream, and crème fraîche to the potatoes.
4. Mash everything together until smooth. Stir in the chives, and season with salt and pepper.
5. Serve warm and enjoy your creamy chive mashed potatoes.
