Ingredients

– 250 g spaghetti
– 400 g canned chopped tomatoes
– 300 ml cream
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 400 g salmon fillets
– 1 cup spinach
– 1 tsp dried basil
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Grated cheese, for serving

Method

1. Start by cooking the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water according to the instructions on the package.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for one minute until fragrant.
3. Pour in the canned tomatoes and cream, then stir to combine. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Add the salmon fillets to the sauce and cook for 6-8 minutes, until the salmon is fully cooked. Stir in the spinach and dried basil.
5. Drain the spaghetti and toss it with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper, then top with grated cheese before serving.
