Ingredients
– 250 g pasta
– 1 cup walnuts
– 1 cup cream
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– Fresh parsley for garnish
Method
1. Boil water in a large pot. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While pasta cooks, place walnuts in a frying pan over medium heat. Toast them lightly for about 5 minutes, stirring often.
3. Next, add olive oil and minced garlic to the pan with walnuts. Cook for 2-3 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
4. Pour in the cream, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir the mixture and simmer for a few minutes.
5. Drain the pasta and mix it into the sauce. Stir in parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley before serving.
