Ingredients
– 250 ml cream cheese
– 100 g unsalted butter
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 large egg
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tsp baking powder
– ½ tsp salt
– Optional: 1 cup of icing sugar for decoration
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese and butter until smooth.
3. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Stir until well combined.
4. Gradually mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt until a dough forms.
5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared trays. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
