Ingredients
- 100 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 100 g unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup plain flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup dried cranberries
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease a square baking pan.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bowl over hot water, stirring until smooth.
- Once melted, remove from heat and mix in the brown sugar, followed by the eggs and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the chocolate mixture.
- Fold in the pecans and cranberries. Pour everything into the baking pan, then bake for 25-30 minutes.
