Delicious Crab Cakes Recipe: Easy Instructions And Tips

Ingredients

– 500 g crab meat
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
– 1 egg
– 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
– 1 tbsp lemon juice
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– Oil for frying

Method

1. In a large bowl, mix together the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onion, and egg.
2. Add in the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir until everything is combined well.
3. Shape the mixture into small patties, about the size of your palm.
4. Heat some oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for around 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
5. Once browned, transfer the crab cakes onto a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.
