Ingredients
- 250 ml Coca-Cola
- 80 ml vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease and flour a 23 cm round cake pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine Coca-Cola, vegetable oil, and sugar. Mix well with a whisk until fully blended.
3. Add eggs, vanilla, and stir until combined. Gradually incorporate flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
5. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
