Ingredients
– 125 g butter, softened
– 100 g sugar
– 1 egg
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 200 g plain flour
– 50 g cocoa powder
– ½ tsp baking powder
– ¼ tsp salt
– 100 g chocolate chips
– 50 g sprinkles
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until it is light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well until combined.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the plain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt together. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes.
