Chocolate Pecan Pie Recipe
Ingredients
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup golden syrup
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the pie crust in a pie pan and set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, golden syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
3. Stir in chopped pecans and chocolate chips until well distributed.
4. Pour the filling evenly into the prepared pie crust.
5. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. Let cool before serving.
