Ingredients

– 1 cup creamy peanut butter
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 tablespoon butter, softened
– 1 cup dark chocolate chips
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– ÂĽ teaspoon sea salt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– ½ cup crushed nuts (optional)
– ½ cup sprinkles (optional)
– Parchment paper for lining cookie sheet

Method

1. In a medium bowl, mix together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
2. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 2.5 cm in diameter. Place them on a lined baking sheet.
3. Melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted.
4. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, then place back on the baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle crushed nuts or sprinkles over the chocolate.
5. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes until the chocolate sets.
