Ingredients
– 1 cup mayonnaise
– 1 cup sugar
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup water
– 2 large eggs
– Cooking spray or butter for greasing
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a cake pan with cooking spray or butter.
2. In a large bowl, mix together mayonnaise and sugar until combined.
3. Add eggs, water, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Stir until smooth.
4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add this dry mix into the wet ingredients. Blend well.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
