Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a madeleine pan with butter to prevent sticking.
2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt well.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and melted butter, mixing until combined.
4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until no flour shows. Stir in the chocolate chips gently.
5. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full. Bake for about 10-12 minutes. Let them cool slightly before removing and dusting with powdered sugar.
