Chocolate Fudge Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of milk
1 cup of chocolate chips
1/2 cup of butter
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
1/4 tsp of salt
Method
1. Start by combining both sugars, milk, and butter in a saucepan. Stir the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
2. Let it boil for around 4 to 5 minutes without stirring. Monitor the temperature with a candy thermometer; it should reach 115 degrees Celsius.
3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add in the chocolate chips, vanilla extract, salt, and nuts if you chose to use them.
4. Mix everything together until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
5. Pour the mixture into a greased tray and allow it to cool. Cut into squares once set.
