Ingredients
400 g canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
50 g plain flour
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
100 ml yogurt
Method
Mash chickpeas in a bowl until mostly smooth.
Mix in onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, flour, parsley, and salt.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Scoop small amounts of the mixture and fry until golden brown on both sides.
Serve warm with yogurt on the side.
