Ingredients
– 1 cup bulgur wheat
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 500 g chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
– 1 cup chicken broth
– 2 cups water
– Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the diced onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until it becomes soft.
3. Stir in the minced garlic, cumin, and paprika, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
4. Place the chicken thighs in the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Pour in the chicken broth and water, making sure to add the bulgur. Bring it to a boil, then cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the bulgur is tender.
