Ingredients
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup pre-cooked lentil fritters (or pakoras)
Method
1. Heat a pan and add mustard seeds until they pop.
2. Stir in the chopped onions and green chilies, and sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute before adding the chopped tomatoes.
4. Mix in the spices: turmeric and chili powder, then pour in the water and bring it to a simmer.
5. Finally, add the lentil fritters and chopped coriander, cooking for 5 minutes before serving.
