Ingredients
– 800 g potatoes, peeled and diced
– 250 g broccoli, cut into small florets
– 250 g cooked ham, diced
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 cups grated cheese
– 500 ml cream
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 2 tbsp butter, melted
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
2. Boil the diced potatoes in a large pot for about 10 minutes until they are slightly tender, then add the broccoli for the last 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ham, onion, cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in the potatoes and broccoli.
4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top it with grated cheese and breadcrumbs. Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Let it cool slightly before serving.
