Delicious Cheesy Corn And Onion Toasts Recipe For Easy Snacking

Ingredients

– 1 cup corn kernels, fresh or frozen
– 1 medium onion, finely chopped
– 2 cups shredded cheese, any type
– 1 tablespoon butter
– 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
– 4 slices of bread
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
– 2 tablespoons milk

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
3. Stir in the corn, mixed herbs, salt, pepper, and milk. Cook for about 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
4. Spread olive oil on each slice of bread and place them on a baking tray. Spoon the corn and onion mixture on top of each slice.
5. Sprinkle cheese generously over the mixture. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
