Ingredients
– 8 sheets phyllo pastry
– 200 g prosciutto, sliced
– 200 g cream cheese
– 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/4 cup olive oil
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
2. Prepare a baking tray by lining it with baking paper.
3. Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a flat surface and brush it with olive oil. Repeat this step for three more sheets, stacking them on top.
4. Spread cream cheese over the layered pastry, then add prosciutto, mozzarella, parsley, garlic powder, and pepper. Roll the pastry tightly to form a log shape and place it on the baking tray.
5. Brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over everything. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
