Ingredients
– 500 g minced beef
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 carrots, diced
– 1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes
– 2 tbsp tomato paste
– 2 cups beef broth
– 1 tsp dried oregano
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
Method
1. In a large pot, cook the minced beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
3. Stir in the diced carrots, followed by the diced tomatoes and tomato paste.
4. Pour in the beef broth. Season the mixture with oregano, salt, and black pepper.
5. Bring the pot to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes until the carrots are soft.
