Ingredients
8 cups of challah bread, cut into cubes
500 ml of milk
4 large eggs
200 ml of cream
100 g of sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
100 g of blueberries
100 g of strawberries, sliced
Method
Begin by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
In a large bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Add the challah cubes to the mixture and gently combine until soaked.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared dish, top with berries, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
