Ingredients
– 2 cups chopped cabbage
– 3 medium potatoes, diced
– 200 g bacon, chopped
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– Salt to taste
– Pepper to taste
– 240 ml chicken broth
Method
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy. Remove it, leaving some fat in the pan.
3. Toss in the chopped onion and cook until soft. Then add the potatoes and cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in the chopped cabbage, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour in the chicken broth and cover the skillet.
5. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Finally, stir in the bacon before serving.
