Ingredients
1 pie crust, store-bought or homemade
375 ml buttermilk
200 g sugar
1/4 cup plain flour
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp butter, melted
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place a pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla, salt, and lemon juice until smooth.
3. Pour the filling mixture into the prepared pie crust.
4. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the pie filling.
5. Bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until the pie is set and slightly golden on top.
