Ingredients
– 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 cup cheese (grated)
– 2 cups milk
– 1 cup macaroni
– ½ cup hot sauce
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 220°C. Toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a bowl. Spread them on a baking tray and roast for 20 minutes until they are golden.
2. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
3. In a pot, heat the milk over medium heat. Gradually add the cheese while stirring until melted and the mixture is smooth.
4. Combine the cooked macaroni, roasted cauliflower, and hot sauce in the cheese sauce. Stir everything together until well mixed.
5. Transfer the macaroni and cheese into a baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and bake for an additional 15 minutes until crispy.
