Ingredients
– 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
– ½ cup breadcrumbs
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 cup shredded cheese
– 2 cups milk
– 2 tablespoons flour
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– ½ cup hot sauce
– Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
2. Bake the cauliflower in a baking dish for 25 minutes, until it becomes tender and golden.
3. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat. Whisk in flour to make a smooth mixture, cooking until it thickens.
4. Stir in the shredded cheese and hot sauce, mixing until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
5. Combine the baked cauliflower with the cheese sauce and top with breadcrumbs. Bake for another 15 minutes until bubbly.
