Ingredients
500 g Brussels sprouts
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
2 spring onions, chopped
Method
1. Start by washing the Brussels sprouts. Cut off the stems and slice them in half.
2. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the sprouts, salt, and pepper. Stir them around for about 5 minutes until they start to brown.
3. Pour in the sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Mix everything together well.
4. Cook for another 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Make sure the Brussels sprouts are tender and nicely coated.
5. Serve hot, sprinkling sesame seeds and chopped spring onions on top if desired.
