Ingredients

– 500 g fresh broccoli, chopped
– 1 cup grated cheese
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/4 cup grated carrot
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– Olive oil for frying

Method

1. Start by boiling water in a pot. Add chopped broccoli and cook for about 3 minutes until tender. Drain and rinse under cold water.
2. In a bowl, combine cooked broccoli, grated cheese, breadcrumbs, and grated carrot. Mix everything well.
3. Crack the eggs into the mixture. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until everything is combined.
4. Shape the mixture into small tots or balls. Place them on a plate or tray.
5. Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the tots for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
