Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)
  • Oil for cooking
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander (optional)

Method

  1. Mix the whole wheat flour, salt, cumin powder, and chili powder in a bowl.
  2. Add yogurt and combine until crumbly. Gradually add water to form a soft dough.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, cheese, and coriander if using.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions, flatten each ball, and fill with the broccoli mix. Pinch to seal.
  5. Roll out gently and cook on a pan with a little oil. Cook until both sides are golden brown.
