Ingredients
– 1 cup broccoli florets
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 2 tomatoes, chopped
– 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1 teaspoon chili powder
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 tablespoon oil
– 200 ml water
– Salt to taste
Method
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Let them sizzle for a few seconds.
2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes golden brown.
3. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
4. Toss in the tomatoes, chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
5. Add the broccoli florets and water. Cover the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
